The first thing that needs to be said about this film is that it looks great. The detail shows just how much effort and care was put in to this film.
The next thing that really hit me was the sound of the film. It sounds amazing! The ambience and atmosphere created for this film is up there with the sound design of games such as doom and dead space.
The only things stopping me giving it 5 stars is the fact that, the ending can be a little confusing and some of the imagery feels like its thrown in to shock rather than show off talent. But other than that a great Japanese animation.
If you're a fan of things such as Ghost in a Shell, then you'll love this.
One last note. Having Japanese audio with english subs would have made it a more complete experience.
